Alfonso Anaya Daniel Zapico y Pedro Gellert Foto Antonio Zamora-El Sol de México City of Mexico.-Amnesty International (AI) demanded to the United States Government to review the cases of anti-terrorist Cuban five prisoners in the neighboring country, by the existence of irregularities in the judicial process.

In a report, the Organization for the defence of human rights, said that there have been inconsistencies and serious doubts about justice and fairness of the trial which were subjected to the so-called "five" anti-terrorist fighters.

AI stated that after analyzing the case in detail, it concludes that it is urgent given pardon to Fernando González, Gerardo Hernandez and Ramon Labañino, Antonio Guerrero and René González, who passed sentences since 1998 which range from 15 years to double sentence, by monitoring the activities of violent groups acting from United States against the island.

The AI report was presented by Alfonso Anaya and Maricarmen mounts, of the international Christian service of solidarity with Latin America and the Caribbean Monsignor Oscar Arnulfo Romero, as well as by Daniel Zapico, Amnesty International, and Pedro Gellert, steering the movement of solidarity with Cuba in Mexico.

It should be noted that human rights defenders expressed also other arguments about illegalities in the case of the five and the ill treatment received in prison, which include the prohibition of seeing their wives.
